Susie Bush-Ramsey is a creative designer, former ENGLAND international athlete, and APPI-trained Pilates instructor with a deep-rooted passion for wellbeing that bridges performance, presence, and mindful living.

Following her career in elite sport, Susie developed a deep appreciation for the connection between physical health, emotional wellbeing and the importance of living with greater presence in an increasingly busy world. Drawing on both her professional and personal experiences, she has spent more than 25 years combining thoughtful design with wellbeing initiatives that encourage women to slow down, reconnect with themselves and embrace the beauty found in everyday life.

Believing that lasting wellbeing is about far more than physical fitness, Susie's work encourages a gentler, more intentional approach to living—one that nurtures confidence, resilience and a deeper awareness of what truly matters. Her philosophy is shaped by values of compassion, hope, simplicity and service, creating welcoming spaces where women can flourish and reconnect with themselves.

As an APPI-trained Pilates instructor, Susie teaches movement as a way of cultivating strength, presence and connection. Her classes combine intelligent movement with breath and mindful awareness, helping women feel stronger, calmer and more at home in both body and mind.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Susie created Take 7 Simple Steps, a beautifully illustrated wellbeing initiative inspired by her own journey through sport, creativity and self-reflection. What began as a simple act of kindness—with handwritten wooden tags placed outside cafés and restaurants inviting people to access a free online programme—grew into a resource that reached women around the world. The initiative later evolved into The Love Me Programme, a six-week wellbeing course that supported women across South West London through funded community programmes.

In 2021, Susie collaborated with athlete Chrissie Wellington OBE to write and illustrate two children's wellbeing storybooks, translating many of the programme's themes into engaging stories for younger audiences. Her own children narrated the accompanying animations, making the project a family collaboration rooted in creativity, kindness and a desire to encourage emotional wellbeing from an early age.

Alongside her wellbeing work, Susie continues to lead a successful creative design business, partnering with charities, schools and purpose-driven organisations to communicate their stories with clarity, beauty and impact. She believes thoughtful design has the power to inspire, connect communities and bring positive change.

Whether teaching Pilates, delivering wellbeing workshops, speaking to schools, charities and organisations, or creating resources for women and families, Susie's aim is always the same: to gently encourage others to slow down, be present and discover that a meaningful, beautiful life is often found not in striving for more, but in appreciating what matters most.
